Job Description
- Collecting information and forecasting & gathering information on markets, market status and competitiveness as well as materials, work & production requirements and overall organization needs.
- Review and audit the purchase contracts to ensure their integrity in cooperation with the legal affairs of the organization and to sign them with the suppliers.
- Approving or declining supplied materials based on examination and cooperation with the beneficiaries.
- Dispose of stored items that are no longer needed and production waste in a manner that benefits the orga
- To collect price offers from various vendors.
- To compose purchase orders, and monthly reports
- Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery
- Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices
- Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
- Conduct negotiations with the suppliers, ensuring that the items meet the required specification.
- Handling the day-to-day activities of the procurement department.
- Ensure quality execution of all regular purchasing duties and administrative works.
- Maintain complete updated purchasing records/data in the system.
- Prepare reports.
- Handling and monitoring of claims to vendors for defectives, shortage, missing parts.
- Source, select and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with suppliers.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
- Ability to analyze and evaluate data.
- Good negotiation, communication, analytical and problem solving skills.
