IT Field Service Operation Engineer

We are looking for an IT Field Service Operation Engineer who will support our network implementations, PC administration, troubleshooting issues, and fulfilling user requests. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in network and infrastructure management, as well as knowledge of domain controller and user administration. The candidate should also possess critical thinking, problem-solving, people skills, and prioritization skills. Additionally, the candidate should be aware and understand ITIL practices and ITSM.

Responsibilities:

Provide on-site support for client networks, PCs, and other IT equipment.
Install, configure, test, and maintain network hardware, software, and devices.
Troubleshoot and resolve network, PC, and IT issues in a timely and professional manner.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights using domain controller.
Monitor and report on network performance, security, and availability.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors for IT-related services and products.
Document and update IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
Follow ITIL and ITSM frameworks and standards for IT service delivery and management.
 

Job Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field from an accredited university.
2-3 years of experience in IT field service, network administration, or similar role.
Proficient in network protocols, standards, and technologies, such as TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VPN, DHCP, DNS, etc.
Familiar with network devices and equipment, such as routers, switches, firewalls, etc.
Skilled in PC administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting, using Windows.
Knowledge of domain controller and user administration, using Active Directory or similar tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, under pressure and with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Willingness to travel to different sites and locations as needed.
