Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Quality Leader ensures that the quality standards are being met.
- assist with the co-ordination of quality improvement activities within the different Production Departments.
- Authorizing line stoppage of and injection when working not according procedure.
- Ensure customer requirement are met
- Quality Leader assists with the introduction, implementation and evaluation of current quality inspection approaches and methods within the Department.
- Work within Environmental and Health & Safety requirements procedures.
- Work within the Quality Management System requirements and procedures including Certification and Customer requirements.
Job Requirements
- A Degree in chemical Engineering.
- At least 2-3 years of experience working in quality in manufacturing industry. With proven experience in managerial role
- Excellent knowledge of quality tools and methods (DoE, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, SWOT, 8D method)
- Using Problem solving tools like Ishikaua diagram 5w
- Excellent communication and English language skills.
- Excellent team leading skills
- Knowledge on use of measuring equipment such as caliper, comparators, optical measuring instruments would be an asset.
- Basic knowledge of six sigma tools.
- Systematic & Methodical.
- Good communication skills.
- Sound presentation techniques.
- Good interpersonal skills and a positive team approach.
