Job Description
Associate Director – Corporate Finance
Responsibilities:
- Interprets and synthesizes data, exercises professional skepticism to challenge data, and develop recommendations to support the client’s objectives
- Prepare workplan, budgets and timeline for engagements
- Assist Partners/Directors in carrying out valuation engagements
- Conduct industry research and understand drivers of growth within an industry/sector, identify relevant trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions
- Review and analyzes historical trading, cash flow, and balance sheets to identify risks or price affecting considerations
- Responsible for engagement management and risk management
- Coach junior staff in technical valuations skills, industry knowledge and soft skills.
- Manage the preparation and delivery of proposals, in conjunction with inputs from other service lines where required
- Assists and take part in various internal initiatives (digitization, industry specialization, value creation)
- Ability to develop financial models for assessing key financial drivers for conducting valuations and sensitivities
- Present valuation findings internally and externally to clients
- Manage the billing and collection process.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related fields.
Experience:
- 9+ years or more experience in financial advisory (Corporate Finance) or Investment Banking, with experience in areas such as business valuations, mergers & acquisitions and financial modeling
- Sector Experience in Oil & Gas and Energy / Utilities
