Job Description
- Oversee, handle the full spectrum of financial and cost accounting role eg. AR, AP, GL, forecasting, budgeting, etc
- Responsible for the preparation of financial statements, forecasts, annual budgets, and business activity reports required by Management
- Process accounting transactions following local and International Accounting Standards (IFRS)
- Prepare general ledger reconciliations following group policy (actively monitor accounts, identify and resolve outstanding accounting issues).
- supervise and coordinate with entities’ subsidiary accountant for Preparation of monthly reports, and monthly and year-end closing.
- Prepare the company’s monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing consolidation including the consolidating balance sheet, statement of income, and statement of cash flows under IFRS Standers.
- In charge of inter-company transactions and reconciliation and Prepares monthly elimination, adjusting, and recurring journal entries
- Perform complex balance sheet account reconciliations, including Investment in Subsidiaries transactions.
- Lead and conduct the consolidation process for companies. monthly and quarterly close
- Perform project cost forecasts/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring, and controls.
- Communicate with internal and external Audit requirement for Holding Company and Subsides
- Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe
- ensuring that intercompany cost allocations are in line with management agreements and transfer pricing policy
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports required by Management.
- Other financial management duties assigned by the CFO
Job Requirements
- Good MS Office skills particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel.
- From 7 - 10 years of experience working as a chief accountant in the manufacturing industry is a MUST.
- V. Good command of English.
- Excellent knowledge of ERP systems and accounting software.
