Job Description

The project is based in Karbala (almuroojproperty.com) and it is expected from the Project Director to perform the followings: 

  • Prepare baseline schedule and update it based on the contract.
  • Monitor critical activities based on the project schedule and advise accordingly.
  • Prepares cash flow curve showing actual progress and identify areas of weakness and establishes means and methods for recovery.
  • Maintain and record update of site work progress obtained from daily reports.
  • Prepares monthly report reflecting work progress summary.
  • Report to the consultant about the current work progress and make comparison between plan and actual progress and study impact of alternative approaches to work.
  • Participate in project meetings and discussions with the Consultant as required.
  • Assists in preparing work program, cash flow and manpower histogram for subcontractors.
  • Preparation of measurement sheets and assists in quantity take-off for tenders.
  • Assist in estimation of direct costs for tenders.
  • Checks the allocation of manpower and productivity.
  • Assist in claims preparation in coordination with the Project Consultant.
  • Establishes and operates cost and financial control systems.
  • Develop method to control the procured quantities and stocks in stores.
  • Measures and computes values to variations and prepares final accounts.
  • Prepares monthly progress payment claim for subcontractors and submit for Consultant approval
  • Provide Guidance to the site construction and instruct accordingly to maintain the quality control and standard of practice
  • Control the camp with new developed methods.
  • Preparation of payments for Suppliers
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time and as per the Organization chart

Job Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Grant Writer or similar role
  • Proficient with measuring and reaching income goals
  • Great with MS Office Word and Excel
  • Excellent knowledge of fundraising information sources
  • Exceptional organizational and writing skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in creative writing or related field
