Role Overview:
As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for tracking inventory management, purchasing and planning in the company. You will collaborate with other departments, such as Operations and Finance, to create effective business plans, so team working skills are important. You should also have project management experience, as well as great leadership and communication ability.
Responsibilities:
- Create the company’s supply chain strategy
- Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues
- Evaluate and report on KPIs
- Monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly
- Maintain supply chain inventory and records
- Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes
- Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents)
- Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth with complex stakeholder management
- Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain (e.g. use of trucks, forklifts)
- Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or relevant field.
- Post Graduate study is a must (Supply Chain Management Diploma).
- Experience in warehouse management, purchasing management and planning
- Must have an experience in Manufacturers fields.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Thorough understanding of company products and logistics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
