Job Description
Maintenance and repair management:
- Managing the mechanical performance of the equipment and supervising the technician's team.
- Directing and supervising the team of engineers and technicians and organizing them to perform the work assigned to them.
Preventive and predictive maintenance:
- Carry out inspections and inspections of all equipment and report to the manager.
- Executing predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance schedules and ensuring timely implementation of complete preventive maintenance.
- Ensure that all station equipment is cleaned, lubricated, and used appropriately.
- Maintain contacts and relationships to report on cases requiring a decision and ensure corrective action is taken and implemented.
Equipment failures and maintenance requests:
- Receive a request to repair a plant malfunction from the operation department and respond immediately to equipment malfunctions.
- Diagnose the malfunction and proceed to repair it with the required efficiency and as soon as possible.
- Review the preventive maintenance schedule for the plant so that any maintenance work is done during the repair of the equipment to reduce the rate of equipment downtime.
- Record all maintenance tasks in the station maintenance log file and follow up the meters to schedule periodic maintenance.
- Use the catalog as a reference for all maintenance, installation, and repair tasks.
- Inquiries in stores for spare parts needed to repair faults.
- Take control to keep maintenance tools and equipment complete and in good condition.
Inventory management of equipment and spare parts.
- Follow up purchase orders and ensure their implementation and availability in stores and identify overdue items.
- Use the technical code and review the full description of the spare part when making an inquiry and/or purchase order and try to reduce the use of samples in purchase orders to avoid rejection and return upon inspection and receipt.
- Examination and receipt to ensure the quality and specifications of the purchased items and approval.
- Follow-up of warehouse balances of available equipment and spare parts.
- Follow-up to the Purchasing Department to expedite the purchase and clarify the importance and priorities.
- Performing other duties assigned by his manager.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5-7 years experience
- 1 year experience in the ready-mix concrete industry Preferred.
- Good in English
- Able to read and understand catalogs
