Job Description

  • Assemble invoices to be completed for payment.
  • Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval
  • Monitor the status of invoices to ensure that payments have been made on time
  • Coordinate with other departments such as accounts receivable, general accounting, and finance to ensure that all invoices are paid in a timely manner
  • Communicate with vendors regarding any issues with their invoices or accounts receivable balances
  • Coordinate with banks or other financial institutions regarding delinquent accounts
  • Maintain copies of vouchers, invoices or correspondence necessary for files
  • Verify and calculate all extensions and totals on invoices (calculating and taking discounts when applicable),
  • Check vendor files for any previous payments and assign voucher numbers
  • Analyze and reconcile special general ledger accounts
  • Handle high invoice volumes in multi-currency from domestic and international vendors for the company.
  • Review, analyze, and respond to suppliers’ inquiries and perform supplier statement of account reconciliations
  • Complete entry of VAT
  • Create reports summarizing accounts payable activity across multiple departments or entities
  • Review and ensure approving purchase orders through the determined approval cycle to ensure that they comply with company policies or procedures
  • Calculate and pay payroll taxes and file tax forms with governmental parties.
  • Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
  • Maintain historical records
  • Paying vendors by scheduling pay checks and ensure payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding finance
  • Prepare analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports
  • Work on improving the payment process

Job Requirements

  • Education: Commerce Bachelor degree (Accounting Department).
  • Real estate experience is a must.
  • Related function experience: 5+ years’ experience.
  • Related position experience: 1 year experience.
  • MS office – excellent.
  • Financial system experience.
