Job Description
- As an Architect, you will be responsible to architect, design, develop and maintain our product platform
- Experience in Multi-Tenant SaaS and PaaS from E-Commerce Industry space will be preferred.
- You will work with a global, diverse team and will help to design and build the technology platform required to meet our customers needs.
- Develop Architecture standards and principles and guide the development teams in developing technical capabilities
- Passionate about technology and adopting latest stacks and methods
- Simplifies problems and ability to identify patterns
- Work with other developers to create proof of concept implementations to demonstrate capabilities and retire technical risks.
Responsibilities - Architect, design, and develop some of the most challenging problems in the E-Commerce space including cloud application development, HCI, data engineering, advanced analytics, Ubiquitous Computing, Performance Engineering and data visualization.
- Understand performance, security, and scalability requirements, and build systems to meet those requirements.
- Lead secure design and development practices to ensure data and application security.
- Conduct architecture, design and code reviews and contribute to other product development activities and artifacts.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Engineering
- 12+ years of professional experience in building enterprise applications
- 6+ years as an application and technology architect
- 10+ in product companies and hands on Architecture experience
- Platform engineering and at scale architecture and design experience is a must
- Experience of Monolithic, Cloud Native, Microservices, Data Engineering is a must
- 5+ years of experience
- Working in a cloud environment (Google Cloud and Azure or AWS)
- Working with serverless, containerization, and microservices
- Taking projects through all development stages including architecture, design, maintenance, and support; Preferably in an agile environment
- Developing for security threats using secure development practices
- Java programming experience
- 5+ year of web development experience, mobile engineering and backend engineering.
Soft Skill - Ability to mentor and guide team members.
- Self-starter and highly motivated
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Ability to handle high pressure and fast-paced situations
- Ability to work with globally distributed teams.
Preferred Qualifications - 8 + years of open-source language.
- Microservices and server less architecture with service fabric, functions and API apps, service bus, message queues (Docker, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc)
- Extensive experience with relevant programming languages such as Java, Spring-Boot, Angular, JavaScript etc.
- Experience with web application design and development including front-end (e.g. JavaScript, HTML, CSS Type Script, Angular) and back-end languages mainly Java
- Experience with database technologies such as MS-SQL No-SQL etc.
- Strong understanding of cloud application patterns designs desired.
- Experience in running public cloud applications in GCP and Azure or AWS desired.
- CI/CD, DevSecOps, setting up and managing Build and release pipelines
- Understanding of security threats and secure development practices such as data encryption and least privilege access controls.
- Demonstrated ability to break down problems, architect solutions and estimate efforts.
- Initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems.
