Job Description
- Plan, organize, and deliver high-quality swimming lessons to children, adults, and groups according to SODIC Clubs' programs and standards.
- Tailor swimming sessions to meet the individual needs, skills, and goals of members.
- Maintain constant supervision of participants during swimming sessions to ensure a safe environment.
- Enforce all pool rules and club safety policies strictly and report any damages or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor.
- Assess members' swimming capabilities and document their progress to recommend appropriate advancement based on skills demonstrated.
- Provide constructive feedback and progress reports to their direct manager.
- Support the swimming program by designing new activities or initiatives to enhance member engagement.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service when interacting with club members.
- Keep certifications (e.g., lifeguard, CPR, first aid) current and in line with club policies.
- Attend periodic training and workshops as scheduled by the management.
Job Requirements
Education:
Diploma, bachelor's degree, or relevant qualification in Physical Education, Sports Science, or equivalent.
Certification:
- Certified Swimming Instructor (from a recognized institution).
- Valid Lifeguard Certification.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
Experience:
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a professional swimming instructor.
- Preferred experience working in clubs, hotels, or recreation centers.
Skills:
- Strong swimming skills and in-depth knowledge of water safety.
- Passion for teaching and motivating all age groups.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of responsibility and alertness.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and ability to encourage progress.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
