Role Overview:
As the Project Manager at Startup Factory, you will oversee the day-to-day execution of the Fintekrs, PropteX, and Logivators programs, ensuring they run smoothly and meet their objectives. This high-impact role involves managing a diverse set of activities, including program execution, stakeholder engagement, resource allocation, and performance tracking. You will be the primary point of contact for all program stakeholders, including entrepreneurs, mentors, partners, and internal teams. Additionally, you will oversee several operational elements critical to the success of the Startup Factory program, helping ensure that we deliver exceptional value to participants and create meaningful results for the startup ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Execution & Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Fintekrs, PropteX, and Logivators programs, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and aligned with program goals and objectives.
- Coordinate schedules, deadlines, and deliverables for each program component.
- Manage all aspects of project delivery, ensuring quality standards are met and programs are delivered on time.
- Provide end-to-end project management, including preparation of detailed project plans and budgets, monitoring progress, and tracking key milestones.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination:
- Serve as the main liaison between entrepreneurs, mentors, partners, and the internal team, building strong, positive relationships to ensure the success and sustainability of each program.
- Coordinate and collaborate with project stakeholders (including mentors, coaches, speakers, and investors) to ensure smooth program implementation and growth.
- Oversee and manage the matchmaking process between startups and investors/business partners to ensure high-quality interactions.
- Resource Allocation & Mentorship:
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that participants have access to the right resources (mentorship, funding, tools, etc.) to accelerate their ventures.
- Ensure the quality of the mentorship process by tracking mentor engagement and gathering feedback to assist in program evaluation.
- Support the educational classes, workshops, and networking events within the program.
- Monitoring & Reporting:
- Track program performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) such as startup success rates, participant satisfaction, and post-program growth.
- Provide regular updates and insights to senior leadership on program performance, challenges, and successes.
- Prepare reports and develop support documentation (including risk logs) to monitor and report project progress.
- Track and document feedback from incubated teams on their experiences and suggestions for future improvements.
- Event Planning & Coordination:
- Plan and execute key events such as boot camps, demo days, workshops, and networking sessions. Ensure these events align with program objectives and provide value to participants.
- Ensure the quality of organized workshops, dinners, and external events within the program(s), including meeting agendas, communication, and feedback tracking.
- Program Improvement & Development:
- Continuously assess and improve program processes and participant experiences based on feedback and outcomes.
- Seek opportunities for program improvement, propose new projects, and help lead the development and growth of new initiatives within Startup Factory.
- Assist in filtering applications and help in the selection of new startup participants for the program.
- Track the collection of feedback on mentors and coaches to assist in program evaluation and identify areas for growth.
- Administrative and Operational Support:
- Maintain an up-to-date database of all beneficiaries, mentors, speakers, and coaches involved in the Startup Factory program.
- Ensure that all required documentation for incubated teams is collected and prepared for use in various communication and marketing channels.
- Support the program implementation in other governorates and help design, document, and maintain system processes.
- Crisis Management & Risk Management:
- Highlight potential risks and proactively resolve issues to ensure program success.
- Be responsible for responding to instant ad-hoc situations and crises, ensuring quick resolution and minimal disruption.
- Travel:
- Travel outside Cairo as required to support program activities and ensure smooth implementation across different locations.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in startup ecosystems, incubators, accelerators, or innovation hubs.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Clickup, Asana, MS Project, etc.).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience within the FinTech, PropTech, or logistics sectors is a plus.
- Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile) are a plus.
- A degree in Business, Engineering, Management, or a related field.
Language Requirements:
- Fluent in both English and Arabic (spoken and written).
