Job Description

Job Purpose:
Responsible for managing international students and faculty exchanges, coordinating semester abroad programs, short courses, and bootcamps, and supporting global partnership initiatives at the International Office. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages the application process, selection, and supports for incoming and outgoing exchange students and faculty, ensuring compliance with all academic and visa requirements.
  • Coordinates the logistics and administration of semester abroad programs, including liaising with partner institutions, advising students, and managing enrollment and course equivalency.
  • Organizes and oversees international short courses and bootcamp programs, handling scheduling, student recruitment, and planning.
  • Assists in developing and maintaining international partnerships, collaborating with universities and organizations abroad to expand educational opportunities.
  • Leverages existing connections with international institutions to initiate and negotiates new partnerships, enhancing the university's global presence.
  • Provides ongoing support for international students at ESLSCA, offering guidance on academic, cultural, and visa-related matters.
  • Plans and executes events such as orientation sessions, cultural exchange programs, and seminars to enhance the international experience at the university.
  • Maintains accurate records of international programs, student participation, and partnership agreements, and prepares regular reports for department heads and university administration.
  • Ensures compliance with all internal and external regulations related to international education, including visa regulations and accreditation standards.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Education, or a related field. 
  • 1 – 2 years of experience in an international office, study abroad program, or a similar role within a higher education institution.
  • Established network of contacts with international academic institutions and organizations, with a proven track record of initiating and fostering partnerships.
  • Accuracy and attention to details
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Excellent Customer support and handling Skills
  • Excellent Problem Solving Skills
  • Excellent level of English Language.
  • Previous Knowledge with Learning Management systems is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of all MS. Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel…)
  • Five Days a week
