Job Description
This role will report to Service Delivery Director, the candidate will be responsible for providing around the clock support for Applications and Workloads running on both AWS and Azure Cloud, and will be working closely with the Service Delivery Team to provide 1st level support for Cloud Workloads and Managed Services.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day operation support to monitor system uptime, response time, service availability for both Systems and applications
- To perform deployment of new enhancement release, bug fixes, patch for digital applications.
- Responsible to receive and reply calls, emails or other communication channel on operational support issues for Systems and applications.
- Incidents and change requests are to be logged and managed in IT Helpdesk Management (ITHM) tool and to be followed up and closed according to SLA. To provide Incident and change management analysis reports monthly or as when needed.
- Troubleshoot and perform analysis on errors or incidents on Systems and Applications, based on guidance by the application and systems consultants.
- Provide feedback to Service Delivery team and Applications consultants or vendor to trouble shoot incidents or for service improvement.
- Performs other job-related responsibilities and special projects as required.
- Prepare periodic Reports about all the incidents, Service requests & Change requests
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a IT, Science, Technology, Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in handling 24 hours support for business application or/and IT infrastructure.
- AWS Solutions architect Associate or Microsoft Azure Administrator is preferred
- Well verse in supporting multiple Operating Systems and infrastructure, such as servers, storage, backup devices, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and other infrastructure related devices.
- Good exposure in application support, Database, MS Products, Networking
- IT Technology specialization certification from Azure/AWS, ITIL, Microsoft, Amazon, Redhat, is an added advantage.
- Experience in project management, application design and integration, and cloud computing.
- Able to work in a rotational shift-based Environment to cover 24/7 Support.
- Passionate in technologies, resourceful and pro-active.
- Excellent language proficiency (English): reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
