Job Summary:
The Category Marketing Assistant Manager role is to in plan and implement the marketing strategies and campaigns alongside the Category Marketing Manager. This position is a crucial role in the management of product categories. He/ She will monitor marketing campaigns' progress and results to gather data to help improve performance.
Role Responsibilities:
Category Strategy:
- Implement category strategy in line with company and brand strategies.
- Assist Category Marketing Manager in developing category annual operational plans (AOP) in line with company guidelines.
Category Performance:
- Constantly analyze brand and market research data to monitor performance against KPIs & Propose corrective actions.
- Monitor category performance vis a vis plans.
- Conduct frequent consumer and market visits to monitor trade and consumers response to implemented activities.
Marketing Activities Planning & Budgeting:
- Implement annual plans to support category objectives & strategy based on approved budget.
- Assist Category Marketing Manager in leading the category innovation process and innovation deployment plans and lead assigned innovation projects.
- Communicate with Marcom team and Advertising Agencies for communication & activation development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar field.
- Excellent proficiency in English language.

- Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude for problem-solving and creativity.
