Job Description
Facility and General Maintenance Manager is needed at Andalusia Health Care Group
Key Responsibilities |
- Scheduling and overseeing all maintenance-related work by managing a team of maintenance technicians and supervisors and directs daily operations of the department to ensure hospital maintenance needs are efficiently and effectively met for optimum patient safety and comfort.
- Plan and coordinate all maintenance activities in the facilities including analyzing equipment needs, reliability issues, developing preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
- Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule, ensure full preventative maintenance is carried out, plan in missed maintenance activities, and lead the team to deliver effectively.
- Evaluates and recommends to Hospital Operational Manager for retention, dismissal, or addition of outside service contracts to stabilize or reduce operational expenses and provide high standards of quality service.
- Coordinates maintenance projects, acting as liaison between Administration and contractors in minor projects and as a member of the Project Team in major projects.
- Actively monitors budget and evaluates expenditures on a regular basis. Initiates recommendations to ensure department is operating within budget.
- Prepare work schedules and workload statistics; maintain an appropriate staffing level to ensure that the service and responsibilities of the department are provided in a timely and quality manner.
- Keeps updated with technology changes and updates in in order to improve operations and maintenance processes.
- Actively seeks ways to control costs without compromising safety, quality of care or services delivered.
Job Requirements
Requirements :
- Education:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.( Preferable )Certified PMP.
- Experience: 6 years of maintenance experience in a reputable Organization and 2 years in supervisory position. ( Preferable ) Previous experience in a healthcare organization.
- Maintenance procedures and protocols of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and utility systems
- Understanding of basic Health and Safety Standards.
- Expert interactive communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Excellent ability to identify, define and analyze problems and situations, and develop appropriate solutions with a smart application of root-cause analysis.
- Excellent orientation towards Customers’ expectations.
- Expert ability to work under continuous stress.
- Good command of English.
