Job Description
- Drafting ITT letters & contractual letters
- Preparing tender documents and doing bids comparison.
- Prepare internal reports necessary for Tenders.
- Project resources management & procurements.
- Good skills for negotiation with contractors.
- Responsible for Sourcing, RFQ / RFP invite to bid for contractors/materials/equipment until to be closed by purchase order and frame agreement.
- Managing the tender process (response to queries, bidders' clarifications, technical & financial evaluation etc.)
- Aware to study the project contract documents (BOQ, tender documents, packages review etc.)
- Preparing and reviewing BOQs and invoices
- Familiar with the risks and hazards within the activities and processes of the role and procedures, practices, and measures in place to mitigate the risks.
- Ensure that tenders meet company commercial guidelines and have the necessary sign off in accordance with the delegation of authority guidelines.
- Take responsibility for all associated handover documentation in the event of an order.
- Participate in and actively support company initiatives.
- Be familiar with the general specifications and market requirements.
- Familiar with the risks and hazards within the activities and processes of the role and procedures, practices, and measures in place to mitigate the risks.
- All other duties as relevant to the post
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or architecture engineering
- 3-4 years of experience in tendering or procurement engineering
- Very good command with English language
- Excellent command with Microsoft office
- Detailed oriented and has very good communication skills
- Experience of dealing with complex tenders
