Job Description
- Oversee the production process from start to finish.
- Must analyze designs to identify potential issues and optimize them for performance, cost, and manufacturability.
- Recommending appropriate materials for mechanical components based on their properties, performance requirements, and cost considerations.
- Managing revisions and updates to technical drawings, ensuring that all changes are accurately documented.
- Collaborating with engineers, designers, and other team members to review designs, address technical challenges, and optimize mechanical components and assemblies.
- Conducting quality checks and reviews of technical drawings to ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and project requirements.
- Ensuring that mechanical designs comply with relevant health and safety regulations and standards to minimize risks during manufacturing, assembly, and operation.
Job Requirements
- A B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering.
- Preferably in the manufacturing of electrical panels, more than 5 years of experience working as Mechanical design engineer.
- Experience with 3D-modelling, knowledge of strength calculations.
- Previous worksheet metal. Experience with working in SolidWorks and CAD.
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
