Job Description

Market Intelligence

  • Initiate and manage, in collaboration with the sales teams, marketing researches by doing in-depth analysis of the sales performance, sales activities, competitors’ performance and market potential to determine market trend, size & share. Test customer perceptions and determine the strengths and weaknesses of the company's products versus the competition.
  • Efficient implementation of segmentation and targeting, account specific action plans and tender management.

Active portfolio management

  • Manage products portfolio properly by appropriate analysis to define the products of focus and competitive edges. Focus on planning to increase sales growth, market shares & products’ gross profits and follow up on implementation.
  • Develop product marketing plans including marketing budgets. Adapt and follow-up on the implementation of the tactical plan in the field in line with company strategic product objectives.
  • Monitor the product performance in the market and customer satisfaction regarding the overall service. Adjust plans accordingly.

Value proposition

  • Work with the line managers and other product managers to coordinate activities of different products, ensure synergy & comprehension of product mix, maintain consistency of marketing messages as well as provide support to the field force in account specific action planning.
  • Provide trainings to sales supervisors and product specialists on product knowledge, underlying medical background, competitors’ landscape, marketing messages and the skills needed to deliver these messages. Evaluate them regularly to ensure right message reaches right customer in the right time.
  • Work with the sales team and develop marketing materials, customer training programs and marketing activities needed, which can help to increase sales and satisfy customers’ needs.
  • Connect with the key opinion leaders in different business lines, build partnerships and set a proper development plan to increase their advocacy level to our products and company

Job Requirements

  • Relevant educational background with bachelor degree (medical/medical engineering). MBA is an asset.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing or key account management, preferably in the medical devices in Egypt, with strong commercial understanding.
  • Project management skills and ability to manage many stakeholders.
  • High analytical, interpersonal, problem solving & negotiation skills.
  • Good command of English Language (Written/Spoken)
