Job Description
- Have a great knowledge of weaving machines and processes
- Have a experience in curtain weaving production processes
- Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements
- Coordinate and supervise production processes
- Develop and implement business improvement projects in line with production goals
- Estimate costs and prepare budgets
- Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
- Monitor production (such as weaving, quality control, dyeing, finishing, etc.) to resolve issues
- Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers etc.)
- Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)
- Approve maintenance work, purchasing of equipment etc.
- Ensure output meets quality standards
- Enforce health and safety precautions
- Report to upper management
Job Requirements
- Proven work experience as an Textile Enginnering or similar role
- Analytical skills for evaluating information carefully and solving complex problems
- Communication skills for overseeing staff and working with other management personnel
- Detail-oriented with the ability to catch minor errors which can result in major problems
- Organizational skills for keeping track of various budgets, employees, and schedules simultaneously
- Experience of management in the textile and weaving industry
- Strong knowledge and expertise in weaving machines and production processes
- Experience in quality control and finishing processes
- Proven experience in business development, cost analysis, and process improvement
- Familiarity with stock tracking, planning, and logistics processes
- Leadership skills, successful in team management and collaboration
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented work ethic
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
