Responsibilities

Diagnosing and treating children's dental issues, including cavities, gum problems, and other oral health concerns. Providing preventive dental care services, which include fluoride applications, cleaning, and regular check-ups. Identifying early dental growth problems, correcting misaligned teeth, and supervising the progress of dental braces. Performing minor oral surgical procedures on children and adolescents to correct dental problems such as impacted teeth. Providing age-appropriate patient education and counseling on oral care, health, and hygiene, including giving advice on brushing and flossing. Using anesthesia and sedatives for patients who are nervous or having more complicated dental procedures. Documenting and maintaining accurate dental records for each patient, including noting treatment plans and progress.
