Job Description
- Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects (e.g., warehouse-slotting, route planning).
- Research potential vendors, Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers.
- Oversee inventory procedures.
- Analyze data to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements.
- Order the proper quantity, negotiate pricing and shipment terms and oversee the timely delivery of materials needed to fulfill customer orders.
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.
- Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage.
Job Requirements
- Proven work experience as Supply chain specialist / Purchasing Officer or similar role
- BSc of Commerce /Business Administration or related field.
- MBA or marketing diploma is a plus.
- Understanding of supply chain procedures.
- Very good negotiation skills and communication skills.
