Job Description

  • We are looking for an experienced and creative Social Media & Events Specialist to join our team. 
  • As a Social Media & Event Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing. 
  • Creating event concepts, selecting venues, budgeting, securing sponsorships, handling logistics, handling event marketing, negotiating with subcontractors, preparing expenditure reports, and evaluating event effectiveness.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience.
  • Prefer to have experience in startup companies.
  • Manage and oversee social media content.
  • Identify, develop and implement a social media strategy to increase online presence and improve marketing and sales for their company.
  • Manage and negotiate with vendors for all contracts and implement all events and manage all communication with all attendees.
  • Measure the success of every social media campaign.
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
  • Monitor SEO through online channels.
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network.
  • Creating and managing our events calendar.
  • Developing event concepts.
  • Managing event budgets.
