Job Description
- We are looking for an experienced and creative Social Media & Events Specialist to join our team.
- As a Social Media & Event Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing.
- Creating event concepts, selecting venues, budgeting, securing sponsorships, handling logistics, handling event marketing, negotiating with subcontractors, preparing expenditure reports, and evaluating event effectiveness.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience.
- Prefer to have experience in startup companies.
- Manage and oversee social media content.
- Identify, develop and implement a social media strategy to increase online presence and improve marketing and sales for their company.
- Manage and negotiate with vendors for all contracts and implement all events and manage all communication with all attendees.
- Measure the success of every social media campaign.
- Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
- Monitor SEO through online channels.
- Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network.
