Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing design ideas for various project, managing and leading team to prepare the plumbing design requirements represented in (Drawings, Modeling, QC, Calculations, Technical Reports, Equipment Selections, Technical Specifications and BOQ) for the following systems: 
  • Drainage System.
  • Water Supply System.
  • Storm Water System.
  • Irrigation System.
  • Firefighting System.
  • Steam / Boiler System.
  • Medical Gas System.
  • Fuel System.
  • LPG System. 

            By using all software, codes, catalogs… required to accomplish the work in an optimal manner.

  • Develop vision and goals for the plumbing engineering team, in alignment with broader company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Assisting in preparation of technical proposals.

Job Requirements

Experience and Qualification:

  • B.Sc. degree in Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Power Engineering from a reputable University.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Previous experience in high reputed Consultant Engineering Company.
  • Previous experience in different type of projects (Hospitals, Hospitality, Residential, Administration buildings, Mixed Use Towers & Developments).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of buildings design standards and codes in Saudi Arabia and Egypt. 
  • Familiar with internationally recognized codes standards.
  • Able to set priorities and adapt to changing conditions and work assignments.

Personal Skills:

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Motivating and encouraging design team members.
  • Capable of defining and meeting realistic timelines.
  • Attentive listener to team members and capable of resolving any issues or conflicts.
  • Encourage creativity and able to delegate tasks and set deadlines.
  • Monitor team performance & oversee day-to-day operation.
  • Discover training needs and provide coaching.

Computer Skills:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and BIM Modelling.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office suite including Word, Excel and Power Point.
