Job Description

E-Commerce Strategy

  • Develop an online business strategy in collaboration with Design team and CMO. 
  • Identifies the target market for the ecommerce initiative so that the team can develop marketing campaigns to attract more visitors and increase online sales.
  • Assist in developing e-commerce strategy and key areas of focus to drive growth for brand

E-Commerce Platforms 

  • Perform ongoing audits of brand e-commerce penetration with key customers – updating and adding products as needed to maintain a best-in-class e-commerce presence
  • Plan and analyze e-commerce advertising, including SOUQ, JUMIA, AMAZON, noon and more – focusing on daily management of spend and optimization
  • Analyze online marketplace and tracking competitors to stay abreast of competitor promotions

E-Commerce Website

  • Administer an effective website strategy and develop and maintain effective relationships with all web designers and programmers and implement all social media strategies and implement all marketing campaigns and prepare all newsletters.
  • Maintain optimal level of customer services at all times and ensure simplicity in services and ensure compliance to all legal requirements and monitor all online channels.
  • Supervise all newsletter performance and design various strategies to increase sales and monitor all performance reports on weekly basis and manage all new product launch according to retail calendar.

Team Leadership 

  • Empowers staff performance and maintains acceptable performance standards and levels, in compliance with set standards and best practices within the Department. 
  • Promotes and maintains good professional relationships among staff members, between staff and stakeholders.
  • Promotes employment equity, integrity and fairness among department staff members. 

 Technology and Performance:

  • Keep Updated with all digital platforms marketplace (Facebook, Instagram, etc.….) and maintain monthly report about performance,  traffic, customer response and sales conversion rate.
  • Design and execute all features of roadmap for all equipment and strategic business units and prepare reports to be presented to direct manager and interpret all data.
  • Responsible for collaborating with cross-functional partners to manage all aspects of the eCommerce business including, business planning, content strategy and development, and other online marketing, website design, customer service, web analytics and web technologies.
  • Manage the user experience of the website including site navigation, content development, checkout funnel and promotional campaigns.
  • Develop and oversee the effective planning, QA and execution of content across the websites and online marketing campaigns to ensure efficiency, accuracy and timeliness of all web content publishing.
  • Provide expertise on current eCommerce industry best practices. Consult on cross-functional projects to ensure eCommerce principles are incorporated.
  • Identify new areas of eCommerce opportunity beyond current organizational thinking.
  • Manage all online activity in relation to traffic acquisition, sales, conversion and a/b testing and reporting.
  • Develop and implement ecommerce strategy in order to improve website performance.
  • Work with developers to improve website speed.
  • Work with the marketing team or manage digital marketers in order to improve quality and traffic acquisition.
  • Re-Platforming website to new CMS(Content Management system), making website mobile capable following up on downloads over the digital platform.
  • Oversee monthly performance results in order to analyze and enhance (sales data, product sales, consumer data, google analytics and customer engagement).
  • Manage paid social/search agency, optimizing approach for CPO, AOV, and conversion.
  • Research market in order to discover new trends and technologies in order to improve website performance.
  • Analyze various data in order to deliver data driven strategies in order to deliver top performance and achieve kips
  • Develop content calendar and oversee website uploads and landing pages development.
  • Prepare and present performance  reports weekly and monthly report related to work progress, analysis and achievements milestones.

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or equivalent combination of education
  • +8 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Advanced skills in using Microsoft office; word, excel, and PowerPoint.
  • High proficiency of Arabic and English Languages; Ability to interpret, analyze, and write reports.
