Founded in 2018, Arib has developed its first product, "Syaaraat," which is an all-in-one platform licensed by the Central Bank of Saudi Arabia and financing institutions. Arib provides consumers with a variety of financing services from different banks and financing institutions, helping them choose the best auto financing options based on their credit profile. Additionally, Arib aims to increase sales, lower costs, and offer access to new clients for banks and car dealerships.

 

Role Description:

As a Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in shaping the direction of our products and ensuring their successful delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders, to define and prioritize features based on business value and customer needs. Your primary responsibility will be to understand the market, gather requirements, and translate them into clear user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria. You will be responsible for maintaining a well-prioritized product backlog and ensuring the development team understands the vision and goals of the product.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders and customers, to understand market trends, customer needs, and business goals.
  • Define, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it reflects the most valuable features and enhancements.
  • Work closely with the development team to refine user stories, ensuring clear acceptance criteria are defined for each item.
  • Conduct regular grooming sessions to clarify requirements, answer questions, and ensure the development team's understanding of the user stories.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Accept or reject work results during Sprint Reviews based on predefined acceptance criteria, providing constructive feedback to the development team.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure the product's user interface and experience align with customer expectations.
  • Foster a collaborative and transparent environment, promoting effective communication and knowledge sharing among team members.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to fintech and product management.

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Administration) is a must.
  • 3-5 Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role, preferably within the fintech industry.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize features based on business value and customer impact.
  • Proficient in defining clear acceptance criteria for user stories, ensuring they are understood by the development team.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of products, make informed decisions, and drive projects to successful completion.
  • Knowledge of the Saudi Arabian market and familiarity with regulatory requirements in the fintech sector is highly desirable.
  • Experience with financial products, payment systems, consumer finance or digital banking solutions is a plus.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner or Professional Scrum Product Owner are advantageous.
