Job Description

For frozen food manufacturers and exporters, we seeking a Production Manager.

  • Plan, direct, organize, and oversee the day-to-day operations of the production and export process for the foodstuff.
  • Plan weekly, monthly, and annual forecasts for the required orders.
  • Communicate daily with prospective customers, and partnering clients via phone and email.
  • Coordination and preparing the operation plans for all departments (Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Logistics ).
  • Manage CRM and other pending transactions on Odoo.
  • Build and maintain a team for running day-to-day operations.
  • Drive the company to achieve and surpass; revenue, profitability, cash flow, and business goals and objectives.
  • Measure and make effective all processes internal and external. Provide timely, accurate, and complete reports.
  • Manage labor, site, and logistics from the factory to the port of the client.
  • Set KPIs, performance criteria, and performance of suppliers.
  • Maintaining the level of services provided, solving clients’ problems, coordinating and linking service departments with and operating supervisors at the stage, and continuous communication with clients.
  • Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements
  • Estimate costs and prepare budgets
  • Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
  • Monitor production to resolve issues
  • Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers etc.)
  • Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)
  • Approve maintenance work, purchasing of equipment etc.
  • Ensure output meets quality standards
  • Enforce health and safety precautions
  • Report to upper management

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind, Hands-on Approach, and a proven success record in managing multiple departments for maximum productivity.

This person will be highly skilled in human resources, finance, and IT management, and be able to develop and maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion within the operations team.

  • Preferred to have previous experience in FMCG export
  • 3+ Years of Management Experience (project, program, and people management).
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with demonstrated entrepreneurial initiative, as well as able to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong data, analytics, and technology experience, and ability to lead operational construction and technical reporting teams
  • Proven experience as production director
  • Deep knowledge of production management
  • Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
  • Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
  • Experience in reporting on key production metrics
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
  • Outstanding communication ability
  • Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
  • BSc/Ba in business administration or a relevant field is preferred
