Job Description
- Set and ensure the implementation of company strategic vision, business plan and driving goals for success and growth.
- Provide direct management of key functional managers and executives in the business unit.
- Achieve company targets to improve revenues, in accordance with KPIs, within the framework of cost efficiency and budget.
- Lead a culture of productivity, result oriented, people engagement, and cost effective in the business unit.
- Oversee BU budget, financial status, P&L and key financial indicators. Effectively manage and allocate company resources.
- Seek out opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new business relationships
- Manage governmental, legal, and social relationships with local authorities and ensure full compliance with laws and regulations in accordance with company guidelines.
- Ensure implementation of safety regulations and promote a safe work environment. ensuring safety compliance with all local, state, and federal safety & environmental laws.
- Design and implement plans to control stock losses and prevent theft.
- Maintain company assets in good operational condition & recommend capital replacement where warranted.
- Promote a focus on our customers’ needs and anticipate and respond to changes in their demands.
- Drive and instill a culture of continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 12 years’ experience in the mining or related industry required, out of which at least 3 years are in a GM position.
- Extensive exposure to P&L and financial statements.
- Excellent leadership, leading by example and outstanding communication skills.
- Ability to handle state & federal, safety and environmental authorities.
