Job Description
- Establish solid and collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to strategically develop, implement and optimize vendor management processes, tools, and policies to achieve performance objectives.
- Maintain, source, and engage reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Evaluate spending operations while seeking ways to improve and enhance the quality of products purchased and the timeliness of deliveries.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure ongoing advantageous terms.
- Communicate with management regularly regarding the efficient flow of goods and services affecting production.
- Ensure on-time delivery of all purchases and materials to support business needs.
- Ensure compliance with management-approved procedures and policies with respect to time, cost, and quality.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Maintain company reputation and credibility through fair dealings and prompt payment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical / Electrical/ Civil).
- At least 3-5 years of experience in Supply, Demand Planning, and machine spare parts.
- Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- ERP experience is mandatory.
