Houseboat65 is a floating houseboat on the Nile river in
central Cairo. We offer stays for guests from all over
the world who want to visit Cairo in a different and
authentic way and live the experience of living on the
Nile. We also accommodate venues for a variety of
events including day use, shoots, gatherings and more.
Who You Are: - We are looking to hire a general manager to be in charge of the day to day operations and help us grow the business through social media, online marketing and partnerships.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Day to day operations: Greet and communicate with guests, organize check-ins and check-outs, manage a small team to cater food and ensure the houseboat is in excellent conditions.
- Communication: Handle client queries through different channels including Instagram, Airbnb, Booking and more. Coordinate with guests during their stay when needed
- Business development: Grow social media presence, develop partnerships and contribute with ideas for success; decoration and home improvements, catering and experience services and more.
Job Requirements
- Bilingual: FLUENT in both English and Arabic spoken & written.
- Ability to work independently
- Social media and Marketing knowledge or willingness to learn
- Constant availability and flexible working hours. Located near houseboat65 (+/- 10mn from the location), Zamalek/Mohandessin/Agouza Driving license is a plus
