Job Description
- Responsible for the financial cycle and the warehouse inventory at the construction site.
- Control the site's cash, distribute the financial flow according to the project's needs, and settle it with the head financial Department.
- To be an expert in making invoices for the sub-contractors and make lists for all financial related activities in the construction site; daily workers and warehouses, etc.
- Responsible for paying the salaries of the daily workers/ contractors/ sub-contractors with weekly reports to be sent to the head office .
- Filing the collection reports and expenses properly.
- Handling day-to-day accounts transactions.
- Verification of bills receivables & payable.
- Handling supplier bill payments.
- Receive, pull stock, store, and maintain warehouse inventory.
- Responsible for stock control of warehouse items.
- Keep documentation of materials and supplies issued.
- Updating database of materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Generating reports to verify inventory levels.
- Determining re-order activity and usage rates.
- Checking materials and supplies and reports when stock is low.
- Initiate orders to replenish supply inventories.
- Inspect receipt of delivery from suppliers to verify the quality and quantity of materials and equipment received against specifications and units ordered.
- Carry out inventory control activities, and may manage purchase and change orders.
- Maintains receipts, records, and withdrawals.
- Reports damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record-keeping purposes.
- Distribute and issuance of uniforms, supplies, materials, and/or equipment based on incoming requests and orders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Accounting/ Commerce/ Business Admin.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as Site Accountant and Warehouse Inventory Specialist.
- Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a warehouse environment.
- Competencies in data entry, analysis, and management.
- Attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time.
- Knowledge of inventory management.
- Good computer proficiency (MS Office e.g. Word, Excel, etc) and have computer skills to work with computerized inventory system and data entry skills to update the inventory control system.
- Ability to work in team.
- Available to join within short notice.
- Preferably live in Sheikh Zayed/ 6th October.
