Job Description
- Calculate and review taxes according to the related rules and regulations.
- Draft agreements, reform tax clauses and identify the tax exposure.
- Liaison with Group tax team for day-to-day tax matters.
- Provide tax advice and planning.
- Meet the Egyptian Tax Authority’s queries and deadlines.
- Prepare tax provisions schedules, returns, payments, reports and maintain company’s tax database.
- Complete quarterly and annual tax reports.
- Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns.
- Liaison with finance and other departments for financial data whenever required.
- Follow industry trends and track changes related to taxes.
- Liaise and support internal and external auditors in Tax.
- Find tax solutions to complicated tax issues.
- Coordinate outsourced tax preparation work.
- Participate in all financial, tax, legal plans, and strategies.
- Conducting tax checks and internal committees.
- Preparation of tax analyzes.
- Prepare reports for the department
Job Requirements
- Fluent English Speaker.
- Advanced MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions).
- Organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Tax, Accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
- Proven work experience as a Tax Manager, Tax Analyst or Tax Preparer.
- Excellent MS Excel Office is a must.
