Job Description
- Ensure applying of inspection procedures, ensures that it covers all aspects of the process and product areas.
- Monitor deviations from the standard set process, and develops a reporting system to highlight risks for any deviation taking place.
- Participate in investigations into product issues, in particular customer complaints.
- Inspect and approves raw materials, aux materials and finished products to ensure adherence to standards before delivery to warehouse.
- Ensure samples are collected in a timely manner for physical, chemical and microbiological testing and given to the laboratory for testing.
Job Requirements
- 3 – 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; food manufacturing preferred specially frozen food.
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities through experience in production, quality, or materials management is required
- Have experience in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or another continuous improvement program
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence others through a matrixes environment is required
- Familiarity with HAACP, ISO, BRC and other QA regulations preferred.
- English language and computer skills is preferred.
