About the Role
We’re on the lookout for a HR Manager to play a key role in helping us grow and support our team members at our two Cairo locations. The HR Manager will handle daily HR and Office-related duties of the company. Reporting to our Chief People Officer, s/he will be joining the People Team and assisting in different employment, legal, office management responsibilities required to find, grow, and keep a high performing team in Egypt.
Main responsibilities:
- Being the first point of contact for employees on any HR-related queries
- Creating and enforcing people-related office policies
- Forming and maintaining employee records
- Reporting regularly on any needed HR metrics
- Serve as the point of contact with benefits vendors and administrators.
- Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Support in the hiring process when needed.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
- Nurture a positive working environment.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Maintaining and reporting on workplace health and safety compliance.
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as an HR/Office Manager or Administrator
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Understanding various HR software systems, like Greenhouse
- Deep understanding of Egyptian labor law
- Work style that is collaborative, friendly, flexible, and data driven
