Job Description
- Writing and editing high quality content for competitive proposals and content obtained through interviewing of technical experts, and foundation manager.
- Harvesting and analyzing information, working directly or remotely with technical experts of the foundation involved in mentioned project/s.
- Responsible for delivering high quality, tailored content for technical, financial and commercial (narrative) proposals or related documents in full compliance with the requirements and quality standards of AFF.
Job Requirements
- A post-graduate university degree.
- At least 5 years of proposal writing experience in the development sector; preferably related to crafts.
- Proven experience in writing proposals for NGOs, international organizations, government institutions and other donors
- Past consulting or research experience with development and humanitarian donors.
- Proven experience in project and team management.
- Proven experience conducting in-depth interviews with subject matter specialists or groups (on calls or in team settings) and synthesizing the information into meaningful feedback and content.
- Ability to write clearly and concisely to structure arguments in a logical fashion and to balance technical rigor with simple explanations.
- Fluency in professional English and Arabic is required. Fluency and professional writing skills in both is essential and mastery of technical jargon.
