Job Description
- Responsible for organizing and executing production activities in an allocated segment to ensure meeting production deadlines and that product standards are met.
- Takeover from the previous shift the production updates and repairs work and complete them.
- Monitor production operations within his shift in accordance with scheduled delivery dates and ensure accurate amount is produced at the right quality, quantity and cost.
- Responsible for shift schedule to include: work station assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotation
- Monitor final products to ensure meeting with all product specification and escalate results in case of product defects.
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in product packaging or related engineering fields.
- 3Yrs: 5 Yrs of experience in packaging/Production.
- Strong knowledge of packaging technology, materials, and design principles with knowledge of testing methods, regulations, and standards for packaging.
- Familiarity with production equipment and manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of sustainability and environmental issues related to packaging.
- Proficiency in computer skills/Microsoft Office especially in Excel.
- Strong creativity skills for developing unique packaging solutions using current trends.
