Job Description
- Identify suppliers of raw materials (vegetables).
- Research and identify potential suppliers.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Negotiating terms with suppliers such as price, merchandise quality, deadlines, expectations, etc.
- Create and record purchase orders with sales requisitions and orders.
- Analyze invoices to ensure accuracy of merchandise delivered.
- Work closely with the production team to understand the details of procurement requirements.
- Evaluate products and suppliers against key business criteria.
- Preparing offers, requesting quotations and negotiating procurement terms and conditions.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns.
- Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and remedy deficiencies.
- Analyze industry and demand trends and support senior management in developing and implementing sourcing strategies.
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate inventory and purchase records.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures and organizational standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree faculty of commerce.
- 5 years of Experience at least in the same field.
- Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management.
- Interest in market dynamics along with a business sense.
- Familiar with negotiation and networking.
- Working experience of vendor management software.
- Ability to gather and analyses data and to work with figures.
- Solid judgement along with decision making skills.
- Strong leadership capabilities.
