Job Description

IE department is a part of the business operations in GS1 Egypt, it consists of 3 main departments (sales, Business development and account management) the IE department mainly focus on some tasks which helps GS1 Egypt to achieve the mission and vision : 

  • Increasing GS1 Egypt penetration percentage in Agriculture Sector  
  • Selling GS1 Egypt Solution & Services to the Agriculture Sector 
  • Managing the key Accounts Programme, in allocated sectors
  • Creating new relationships according to the GS1 Egypt Strategic direction
  • Increasing GS1 Egypt ARR 
  • Facilitating the adoption of GS1 standards that enable organizations to create better outcomes for all their stakeholder communities
  • Driving the adoption of the GS1 System with all governmental and non-governmental entities to achieve the GS1 mission and vision 
  • Participate in all industry events 
Job Purpose
Responsible for providing leadership to the sales and account management processes and growing revenues associated with the full breadth of products / solutions for GS1 Egypt Sectors; core responsibility is to understand and translate the needs of a Strategic Customer so that services rendered fulfills or exceeds the customers’ expectations, thereby developing and enhancing a long-lasting, profitable and rewarding business partners.
Job Deliverables
  • Generate leads in the Agriculture sector  
  • Qualify and handle leads referred from other departments; Membership (department responsible for adding new members, retaining them and ensure they abide by GS1 policies)
  • Approach new Customer Base in Egypt via annual conferences or exhibitions 
  • Handle Proposal cycle from RFP until successful implementation of proposal scope
  • Responsible for a monthly target to be achieved 
  • Follow up on the business development activities in all sectors
  • Use Sales Force Software for data entry and lead follow up
  • Follow up GS1 Egypt sales process documentation 
  • Ensure proper filing and documentation of the contract process
  • Find, manage, grow and close revenue opportunities; grow installed customer account share
  • Understand customer business and service requirements in order to develop "tailored" solutions and offerings whenever possible
  • Transfer customer requirements to the product management department

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Experience 5 years sales and business development on selling software
  • Excellent use of MS Office & CRM Software
  • Excellent Communication & Negotiation Skills
  • Excellent in Arabic & English (Writing- Speaking) 
  • Car is mandatory
