Job Description

  • Conduct contract analysis by reviewing and studying all contract’s conditions and provide summary reports to each of the project concerned party (Technical, Cost and Planning, etc.) Set for the project commencement.
  • Manage all the correspondence going back and forth between the client and the company, and keep track of the project official letters with their current status stand on the project progress, issues, and risks & actions needed.
  • Administrate variation orders upon the client requests and discuss it with the project team for quotation and price breakdown.
  • Handle and submit claims when the project deviated from the original time schedule and budget, and prepare a notice of claim with a list of all delayed events and to be issued according to the contract time bars to preserve the company rights for extension of time and money.
  • Supervise Subcontracts: issuance, signature and Administration; through ensuring compliance of subcontract conditions (back-to-back basis) with the prime contract, drafting special conditions (if required) and preparation of deviation reports.
  • Report monthly project status report to the management that entails progress, variation, and claims log for review\comparison with the previous months for any needed precautions or actions.
  • Monitor compliance with contract requirements ensuring all conditions are satisfied before approval of the final invoice.
  • Support in maintaining contract database and tracking system for all contracts executed including the original contract, all correspondence, changes/deviations, amendments, clarifications, payment schedules.
  • Assist in updating standard contract templates while identifying terms and clauses in agreements that represent risks.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree of engineering from reputable university 
  • Minimum 8 years of experience, of which 5 years in contract administration position.
  • CLAC or Similar Contracts Management courses is preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of administering FIDIC Contracts as well as preparing and managing construction claims with proven results.
