About the job

The Operations Specialist will be a part of the Operations team. Operations team core job is order process as logistics, vendor communication and activation. You will be mainly communicating with vendors/sellers and shipping companies to make sure the supply chain process and logistics process is done in a high level of standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all aspects of shipment transportation
  • Ensure all shipments are delivered within the required time range
  • Communicate with Shipping Companies hubs to determine delivery costs, delivery timeframes, and provide appropriate documentation of deliveries
  • Communicate property shipment details to clients
  • Establish and maintain relationships with shipping vendors; obtain and compare quotes of several vendors; compare quotes with cost of using in-house resources; determine safe and economical method for property movement.
  • Review vendors’ invoices for accuracy and ensure alignment with quoted amounts; dispute invoiced amounts as necessary
  • Report cost analysis file to manager at the end of every quarter/month.
  • Create accurate commercial invoices for all international shipments.
  • Provide daily Reporting to management
  • Ensure logistics is stocked with packing boxes, real time temperature trackers and quilts on hand for consignment.
  • Always Checking Stock Availability
  • Manage delivery appointments with our Distribution Center
  • Track and communicate product deliveries
  • You'll provide daily reporting on performance and analysis of how to improve
  • Duties may change; Team Members may be required to perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience in Customer Service / Operations / Logistics.
  • Very good problem solving skills.
  • Proven customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Sheets, CRM systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in E-Commerce / Automotive is a plus
  • Tech Start-up Experience
  • Experience Using a DMS (Delivery Management System)
  • Supply Chain Certificate or Diploma
