Job Description
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Job Requirements
- BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field / proven experience
- 5-7 years of experience in Android applications development
- Solid understating and experience in OOP, Design patterns, SOLID principles, algorithms, and data structures
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- Familiar with MVVM / MVP /MVI and Clean Architecture
- Must be an expert in Android development & Kotlin.
- Experience with Android SDK / Maps / location-based services.
- ORM frameworks and Room
- Experience in Android Security and proguard-rules
- Jetpack Compose is a must.
- Experience in WebSocket / Socket IO
- Familiarity with continuous integration. / Fastlane / Jenkins.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Strong experience with Git.
- Experience with Jira or similar systems
- Experience with Google Play Store / deployment process
- Experience in Firebase / MBaaS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to collaborate and self-manage.
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Ability to effectively work with Design and QA teams and coordinate with them on regular basis.
