Job Description
Roles And Responsibilities
- Liaison with customer to understand the scope/requirements and owns all aspects of technical planning and translates business requirements into system specifications.
- Contributes to, and owns as appropriate, the analysis process and documentation deliverables including workshop facilitation and Gap Analysis
- Creates solution design document and interface specifications with sufficient detail and manages design within the scope of the project goals
- Owns all assigned areas of the build phase. Applies technical and process knowledge and best practices to deliver consistent, high quality, production ready solutions.
- Integrate Remedy with other BMC products and third-party applications.
- Provides leadership and mentoring throughout the project phase to junior team members
- Successfully moves the changes into production and provides post go live support
Job Requirements
Skill / Competencies / Experience
ESSENTIAL (Minimum 5+ years of experience)
- Tertiary Qualification in IT Engineering / Computer Science / related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a BMC Remedy Developer
- Hands on experience on below BMC products preferably on Linux environment
- BMC Remedy 19.08 and above
- BMC Smart Reporting 19.08 and above
- BMC TrueSight Orchestration Platform 8.2 and above
- BMC AI 19.08 and above
- Experience on Smart Reporting configuring regular and custom report, scheduling reports and creating custom views
- Experience on Remedy ITSM modules and Remedy integration with external systems
- Experience on Server configuration like setting up High availability, Load balancing, Single sign on, etc
- Experience on Remedy data configuration like foundation data management (manual and using tools DMT/UDM), SLA configuration
- Experience on Data migration tools like BMC DDM, HDM (CMT)
- Remedy upgrade experience and Service Assurance knowledge in variant domains are preferred experience
- Experience on Remedy customization workflow development and testing
- Remedy integration using methods like REST/JAVA API, Webservices, AI
- Server-side debugging
- Structured problem analysis, documenting root cause analysis, suggesting work around to minimize service outage
Preferred
- Work experience in DevOps/Agile delivery model
- Exposure to Build tools like Jenkins etc.
