Create lesson plans, track students’ progress, and perform supervision duties.
Planning and presenting lessons to facilitate students' understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
Preparing and distributing learning material such as notes, assignments, and mental math quizzes.
Sourcing the resources and supplies needed for lessons.
Ensuring that the classroom remains safe and conducive to learning.
Adopting and working towards the implementation of the school development plan.
Communicating, consulting and co-operating with other members of the school staff, including those having posts of special responsibility to ensure the best interest of students.
Reviewing and evaluating one’s own teaching and learning strategies, methodologies and program/s in line with the Curriculum Framework guidelines.
Ensuring high standards of professional practice and quality of teaching and learning of the subject.
Through effective dialogue, participating in peer review and observation of class teaching practice by the Head of Department.

Bachelor's degree in education with a specialization in mathematics, or equivalent.
Proven experience as a Math Teacher.
Fluency in English is a must.
Dedication, patience, and the ability to remain calm in tense situations.
The ability to answer sensitive questions and create an environment where everyone’s opinions are respected.
A thorough understanding of best practices in teaching.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Organized, flexible disposition.
Outstanding interpersonal skills.
