Job Description
- Develop a digital strategy and plan based on Wataneya's strategy.
- Manages Wataneya’s media platforms; developing content calendars with the Senior Content Specialist, coordinating with graphic designer for post designs, and Moderating all social media platforms.
- Runs advertising campaigns on Wataneya’s social media platforms and manages online expenditure and reports.
- Designs and sends out Wataneya’s quarterly e-newsletters and mailshots incorporation with senior content specialist and designer.
- Keeps an updated archive of Wataneya’s digital assets including Digital and print designs, photo banks, videos and documentaries.
- Updates Wataneya’s website regularly, monitors analytics, identifies any areas of improvement to increase traffic and manages the relationship with the website development agency.
- Plans, organizes and manages Wataneya’s events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions in coordination with the requesting department.
- Coordinates with all suppliers throughout event planning and execution.
- Keeps an updated database of media outlets contacts and supporters and engage with them, as well as issue press releases and materials.
- Coordinates with freelance photographers, videographers, editors, designers, and interns during events.
- Supports in handling the printing and production of all of Wataneya’s publications and materials.
Job Requirements
Education:
BSc in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or relevant field
Job Requirements:
- Proven marketing and communication experience
- Excellent communication skills in (Arabic and English)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Technical Knowledge:
- Experience in writing bilingual content
- Email marketing tools
- Adobe design tools “Photoshop and Illustrator”
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Hands-on experience with web content management tools
Core Competencies:
- Planning skills and ability to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously and demonstrate a sense of urgency, when required
