Job Description
- The Technical and Proposal Writer reviews request for proposal (RFP) document and other background material provided by the team submitting the proposal, then writes a proposal using this information.
- The writer will also be responsible for writing user and admin guides, translating documents and strings, preparing presentations, and proofreading documents.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in experience Software Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Writing.
- 7+ years experience in technical writing.
- Create documentation for user technical proposal, guides, integration methodology, API developer guides, in-platform instructions, installation/configuration instructions and system operations.
- Ability to communicate complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Experience with coding languages C++, Javascript, java language, Python, swift .
- Experience in API documentation.
- Preferred: Prior experience working within IT Development, GIS web-based technology environment and system integration.
