Job Description

  1. Financial Management
    • Oversee and manage all project accounting functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
    • Ensure accurate tracking and allocation of project costs and revenues.
    • Manage all accounting transactions
    • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
    • Ensure timely bank payments
    • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
    • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
  2. Daily Site Expenses
    • Record and monitor daily site expenses accurately.
    • Publish financial statements in time
    • Generate and analyze detailed reports on site expenses to support project cost management.
  3. Project Accounting
    • Prepare and review monthly cost reports and project financial statements.
    • Monitor job costs and ensure alignment with budgets.
    • Reconcile project accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  4. ERP System Management
    • Utilize ERP systems to streamline accounting processes, reporting, and project tracking.
    • Ensure accurate data entry and system updates for all financial transactions.
  5. Compliance and Documentation
    • Maintain compliance with applicable laws, standards, and regulations.
    • Manage and organize all financial documentation, including contracts, invoices, and purchase orders.
  6. Collaboration
    • Work closely with project managers, procurement teams, and other departments to ensure financial alignment.
    • Provide financial insights and recommendations for cost-saving measures.
  7. Reporting
    • Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
    • Generate regular and ad hoc financial reports for management.

Job Requirements

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Accounting from a governmental university English section is preferd.
    • Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction accounting.
    • Proven experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
    • Strong understanding of construction project financials, job costing, and budget management.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems.
    • Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
  • Other Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
