Job Description

A business development associate helps companies to boost growth and sales. They conduct market research, develop business strategies, build client relationships, and identify new business opportunities. Business development associates find work in a variety of industries from marketing to information technology.

  • Assist to manage, retain, and expand the business in alignment with Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, and Commercial departments.
  • Maintain fruitful relationships with partners and address their needs effectively and timely.
  • Research and identify market opportunities and attract new partners.
  • Work with senior team members to identify and manage the company portfolio growth.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions.
  • Draft and review contracts.
  • Assess the feasibility of new projects/products in collaboration with New Products Manager and concerned departments in the operation.
  • Maintain and update corporate presentations for the purpose and scope of business development.
  • Assist to develop and update business content for online platforms (Website and social media) in coordination with Corporate Marketing. Additionally, assist in the content and design of international magazine adverts.
  • Assist and coordinate new projects/businesses targeted territories in collaboration with the export team.
  • Assist the Business Development Manager with tasks as the job requires.
  • Foster a collaborative environment within the organization.
  • Maintain the database using your organizational skills to streamline processes and clean up the data.
  • Collecting and maintaining client information in the CRM database.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients.

Job Requirements

  • Medical Background 
  • BSc/BA in Pharmaceuticals
  • Proven working experience as a business development Associate, marketing associate or a relevant role
  • Proven sales track record
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Market knowledge
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Time management and planning skills
