Job Description
BPAV is an independent audio-visual consultancy, due to continued growth we are looking for a full-time AV control system programmer / DSP programmer to join our team.
The candidate will be a experienced engineer with advanced audio visual system programming capabilities. The candidate will speak fluent English and sit in a small global remote programming team based from home, providing remote programming, audio-visual system design and CAD drafting services on a range of projects. On-site visits across the UK, Europe and USA may be required from time to time.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented individual with the following skills (a mixture of at least 3 of the below would be great):
-QSYS Programming (3+ years)
-Extron Programming (3+ years)
-Crestron Programming (3+ years)
-Biamp Programming (3+ years)
-AMX Programming (2+ Years)
The following skills would be a good to have but not a formal requirement:
-Lutron Programming (2+ Years)
-Control 4 (2 + Years)
All candidates will need intermediate CAD drafting skills with the ability to produce schematics, elevations, floor plans, and full as built documentation packs When required.
This position will be tasked with DSP, control system programming and GUI creation of audio visual systems on remote projects across the globe. Candidates will also be tasked with managing, and resolving tickets on our audio visual service desk. Indepth knowledge of audio-visual systems, control system programming and associated technology will be required to succeed at this role, any gaps in candidate knowledge will be covered with inhouse training.
Candidates will be required to work Monday-Friday 9-5.30 (UK Time), and will also be required to have fluent english speaking and writing skills.
