Job Summary.
Purchasing / Logistics Specialist is responsible for the purchasing and logistics for all supplies and materials for the Coating, Custom and TK-Liner plant; in accordance with NOV Tuboscope Standard Operating Procedures. The Purchaser / Logistics Specialist is responsible for the safety of all employees. The Purchaser / Logistics Specialist is expected to ensure that quotes, purchase order, shipping and receiving are processed and completed properly, within NOV Tuboscope Standards, on time and within budget.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



Function as the Administrative / Inventory Specialist for the Operations group Inform the Operations Superintendent and Operations Manager of any disturbances or irregularities Enforce Company rules and policies understanding and application Assure SOPs, HSEMS, QMS and all other Company policies and guidelines understood and applied Perform other duties that maybe assigned by the Operations Superintendent or his designee.

FACILITY SPECIFIC RESPONSIBLITIES:



Perform all assignments, duties, and tasks in a safe manner following standard procedures and practices. Encourage others to do so. Correct and/or report all unsafe conditions immediately. Perform standard data entry tasks according to accuracy standards, examine data records, inspect and recordincoming data for completeness, accuracy of codes and other potential problems in processing. Source Vendors from product information provided by the Ops Group and acquire 3 quotes/contracts in place for vendor approval. Conduct Vendor evaluation/re-evaluation processes to be carried out as per set criteria specified. Update and maintain Approved Vendor database list and to work closely with various departments to ensure Vendors required documents are maintained correctly. Verify material requests received from Purchase / Logistics Specialist for stock replenishment in the stores /

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILL-SET REQUIRED:



Essential:
Diploma / College required; related experience may be substituted. Minimum 2 Years of relevant experience Computer Skills – Excellent Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel required. Excellent English Language Skills (Reading, Writing and Speaking) required. Excellent analytical and communication skills. Will demonstrate a positive attitude. Ability to work within a diverse cultural environment Capability to work under pressure Excellent monitoring and tracking skills. Good negotiation skills

Desirable:



Bachelor's degree in relevant subject More than 3 years of relevant experience A good knowledge and experience of local market for Oil and gas supplies Experience with SABER and customs exemption process.
