Senior Mechanical Engineer

Plan, coordinate and monitor all maintenance activities related to mechanical systems, machinery on the assigned site n collaboration with the site Engineering & Maintenance team. 

• Assist to define project requirements, developing proposals, estimating costs, obtaining approvals, engineer design, procuring materials, supervising construction and assisting commissioning. Activities to be planned and coordinated with other refinery groups, vendors and contractors.
• Assist group-wide engineering teams with the resolution of Mechanical engineering problems and provide technical guidance by carrying out investigations, evaluating solutions and writing recommendations. This may involve researching documentation, organizing filed tests and defining interpretation of codes and standards.
• Organizes and monitors the work of support staff, refinery personnel, contractors and vendors during all project phases including; engineering, drafting, construction, inspection. Testing and commissioning. Writes, evaluates and administers purchase requisitions and installation contracts.
• Review designs (A/C, Fire Fighting, Drainage, Water, LPG) submitted by the consultants and make sure that they are as per the latest standards.
